Game School Interview

Waaay back in March, Melissa and I did an interview with James and Spence (who apparently likes spiders as much as Melissa) from Game School, a podcast show dedicated to interviewing game designers. You get to hear straight from the designer's mouth how the game works, listen to them go through various mechanics and character creation, and then they run the hosts through a demo (or part of one, at any rate).

We of course chose Dungeons & Delvers: Black Book. We spent a big chunk of time discussing the mechanics, how they differ from Dungeons & Dragons, as well as all of the new/original stuff like crafting (which James really liked). Luckily I had some pregens ready to go, but even then we only got through about a quarter or third of the adventure I'd written for the occasion (which we'll be offering as a stretch goal for the upcoming Red Book Kickstarter).

You can listen to the whole thing here, and if you have a game of your own I'd hit them up!

You can now get a physical copy of Dungeons & Delvers: Black Book in whatever format you want (the PDF is also on sale on DriveThru)! We've also released the first big supplement for it, Appendix D, so pick that up if you want more of everything.

The first issue of The Delver, a magazine featuring fungal-themed content for both players and GMs (including an adventure in which myconids find religion), is available!

Our latest Dungeon World class, The Ranger, is now available.

Dwarven Vault is our sixth 10+ Treasures volume. If you're interested in thirty dwarven magic items (including an eye that lets you shoot lasers) and nearly a dozen new bits of dungeon gear, check it out!

By fan demand, we've mashed all of our 10+ Treasure volumes into one big magic item book, making it cheaper and more convenient to buy in print (which you can now do).
