Dungeons & Delvers: Appendix D, Issue 8

Someone wanted us to add more monstrous races and classes to Dungeons & Delvers: Black Book, so that ended up being the overall theme for the eight issue of Appendix D. It contains:

• Five new races: the centaur, giant, ishim, lizardman, and nekobito (cat person). The cat person is Small and can transform into a cat at will (and back). The idea is to give some races unique things to help them stand apart from the others besides "it kind of has cat-like features". This is also why we originally proposed changing ishim so they get wings by default.
• Three racial classes for the centaur, ishim, and lizardman. These are not intended for multiclassing purposes (some class features and talents might interact in surprising and unintended ways), though if the GM is cool with it go ahead.
• Monster stat blocks for centaurs, ishim, and lizardmen.

The small issues of Appendix D are free add-ons to Black Book: just re-download the Appendix D zip file. As always let us know what you think, if you have any suggestions or criticisms, and if there's something you want to see in the next issue!
