Sundered: A Sundered World Comic
Shortly after I launched the Kickstarter for A Sundered World, I was contacted by Brannon Hollingsworth of Four Fools Press. He wanted to work on, among other things, Sundered, a comic that takes place in A Sundered World. His inspiration was the art for the kytheran race:
This means that they're going to feature a kytheran named Kor, and an ancient spiritform aptly named Serpent, who has reactivated/revived him for an as of yet unknown purpose.
I agreed, he provided me with a script (which included detailed descriptions and panel layouts), and I added the comic as a backer reward for all levels, even those at the $1 level. Now, just under four weeks since the campaign was completed, I've finally finished it (so, if you're a backer check your updates).
If you aren't a Kickstarter backer, you can get issue 1 here. It provides a brief introduction of Kor and Serpent, and showcases a pair of monsters that will be featured in The Golden Road's monster setting in A Sundered World. It's currently B&W, but Melissa is laboring to get the color version done. It'll get added to the product page, so you won't have to buy both individually or choose.
The Golem is our latest "monster" playbook, and the fourth to be made due to fan demand. Next up is The Rakshasa, followed by a few more that we're not ready to talk about just yet (one of which features yet another character sheet design).
On the topic of classes, I want to give a shout out to Maria Rivera's The Lich. I not only provided some design insight and content, but also did the cover (with the help of Melissa, who colored it), the logo, and layout for both the digest pdf and new character sheet.
If you're interested in having Melissa and I look over your class (or adventure, or whatever it is you're working on), and/or do art, hit us up! We're cheap (or in some cases, free).
The Dungeon World GM Screen is currently available in pdf and landscape insert formats. No matter which you choose, you get eight sets of pdfs that let you have access to the screen in both landscape and portrait orientation, in color or black and white, and with or without art.
We're waiting on the portrait inserts. Assuming they look good, they'll be available soon. Next up, mini screen!
