Kickstarter: No One Warps For Free
Venger is doing yet another Kickstarter (this is his fifteenth one), this time for an Alpha Blue supplement called No One Warps For Free. It's almost funded and the core package is some adventures, random tables, optional rules, suggestions, pregen characters, new character class/concepts including a bard.
I thought the $10 pledge was a bit steep for only 30 pages, but it also includes ten bucks off the print-on-demand books when they're available, plus stretch goals will up the page count. There's even a pledge level that gets you every Alpha Blue PDF he's done, plus five bucks off the print-on-demand book, which is probably a pretty good bargain.
By the by, Venger did not ask me to write this. He doesn't even know I'm doing it, and I'm sure that everyone that likes Alpha Blue or what Venger does in general has already backed it by now. He just seems genuinely passionate about what he does and honestly it's refreshing to see an RPG publisher actually support their damn game. So, who knows, maybe this'll attract some fresh eyes.
After months of doing other things, we turned our attention to and released The Warden. It's based on the 4th Edition Dungeons & Dragons class of the same name, but judging by the responses we did an excellent job converting it over.
Dwarven Vault is our sixth 10+ Treasures volume. If you're interested in thirty dwarven magic items (including an eye that lets you shoot lasers) and nearly a dozen new bits of dungeon gear, check it out!
Just released our second adventure for A Sundered World, The Golden Spiral. If a snail-themed dungeon crawl is your oddly-specific thing, check it out!
By fan demand, we've mashed all of our 10+ Treasure volumes into one big magic item book, making it cheaper and more convenient to buy in print (which you can now do).

What a pleasant surprise! Thanks for the support, hoss. I expect this to be my biggest KS yet.
ReplyDeleteNo problem man! Keep on doing what you do: nice to see some passionate peeps making what they want without giving a fuck what a bunch of prudes think.
